Community Living and Respite Services’ (CLRS) Opening Doors Project

Our very own Travis Hore and director Gary Wood attended the official unveiling of Community Living and Respite Services’ (CLRS) Opening Doors Project last Friday, along with many local supporters and fundraisers of this innovative disability support.

Travis is an ambassador of the Opening Doors Project and was heavily involved in Johnno’s Run – the flagship fundraising event for this project – for the third time again this year and our CLK has been a long-time supporter of CLRS.

It is a brand new era in supported disability care in our region, thanks to the ground-breaking work of CRLS and a mountain of fundraising from so many individuals from within our community.

The innovative Opening Doors Project will offer a supportive environment and a beautiful home to six local people living with disability and will profoundly change their lives.

It will provide opportunities for new independance, secure housing for the future and also peace of mind for carers and families for the present and into the future.

What a great achievement for CLRS, supporters and the wider EM community.

Echuca Moama is known leader in disability care, education and support and Opening Doors is just one example of so many great programs and initiatives for people living with disability in our community.

Congratulations to the many people involved in the Opening Doors Project for making a significant and lasting difference to the lives of many.
