Our very own Wayne Norwood took part in the 20th annual Sweat vs Steam fun run event on the weekend and despite only running at a relaxed pace, finished fourth in his age group.
Wayne is a prolific runner and you’ll often see him up early, chasing the dawn and clocking up the kms around the streets of Echuca Moama.
More than 400 locals and visitors took part in the Sweat vs Steam, a unique people versus steam event, where participants race against the historic P.S Pevensey in a 5km or 12.5 km run along the stunning riverside track of Echuca’s Scenic Drive.
Local marathoner Brady Threlfall was the overall winner, notching up his eighth win in the event, and many locals finished best in their field.
Many of our CLK crew enjoy keeping fit and healthy and love getting out and about in Echuca Moama to make the most of our great weather and all our town has to offer.
So get out and about this spring with family and friends and look out for us as we begin our training to try and catch Wayne for next year’s Sweat vs Steam event.
