Echuca Moama a Murray River Playground
Echuca Profile
The Murray River has long been a mecca for holiday makers and those looking for a slower pace, a stunning natural setting plus all the modern amenities of a regional city. Echuca Moama delivers all of this and more and with a population of just over 20,000 (2022) with both towns booming in recent years. Moama seeing a population growth of nearly 19% and Echuca 7.3% increase since 2016.

The river and surrounding bushland are fully accessible here with heritage, history, and culture a living breathing thing. Echuca's proximity to Melbourne and the ambitions of our founders, led to our Echuca becoming Australia's largest inland port during the peak of the 1850s paddlesteamer. Our world-famous riverboat trade was of national importance, opening inland Australia for settlement and trade and today's iconic Port of Echuca wharf and precinct pays homage to this fascinating past.

This once busting Port is now home to an enviable collection of cafes, restaurants, and an iconic High Street scape close to the hearts of many who visit or call Echuca Moama home.
Tourism is huge here and we are lucky to host millions of visitors a year, host an impressive calendar of world class events and offer families, young couples, singles, and retirees a place to call home that offers relaxation and quality living on one hand while providing career opportunities, education, and an opportunity to create not just a living but an enviable life on the other.
 Moama Profile
Moama might be the smaller sister to Echuca with a population of 6930, however, it still packs a punch when it comes to liveability and is one of NSW fastest growing regional townships. Set on the Murray River, the country vibe and local hospitality of Moama is matched only by a plethora of top-class hospitality venues, sporting facilities, schools and community infrastructure that ticks all the boxes. Moama is the place for property development with new land projects in abundance. Life is good for those who call Moama home and the many visitors who keep coming back for the river, golf courses, riverside wineries, and restaurants you'd expect to find in Melbourne.
